Why should I hire Bob for my tree service needs?

Bob is an owner operator, Licensed, Bonded & Insured. Our workers are protected under L&I, but more importantly, we take care of your property as if it were our own. Tree and excavation work is dangerous, but we take precautions with your property and our personal safety. It is worth it! Check us out on the L&I website here Check us out on the L&I website here.

Some of our competitors claim to be licensed, bonded, and insured, but then fail to carry workmen’s comp / industrial insurance on their workers. This is probably one of the most likely things to go wrong on a job site. So make sure you don’t get caught holding the bag for a workers injury and request to see their L&I certificate of insurance for any contractor service you hire.

Bob’s is an accredited business of the Better Business Bureau.

We are also a member of www.HonestContractors.net. When hiring a tree service contractor, think of it as buying a car for a loved one. Would you put your wife or daughter in a yogo? Or do you buy a trusted brand name? Same with hiring a tree service or any other contractor. Your home and property is at stake!! Always ask for a copy of insurance, when in doubt call their insurance agent to be sure they are current and insured for the work to be performed. In my opinion this is more important than seeing if they are licensed.

Also check the Labor and Industries web site, along with the BBB Better Buseiness Bureau. When checking the BBB, if a contractor or business has a five star ranking or no ranking at all, this means he has not had a complaint in a three year time frame.  Also you can ask for referrals.

As with any specialized service, climbing high into trees is a very dangerous job, and a skill that is acquired with training, practice, and experience. Tight quarter tree removals or trimming requires skills that even experienced professional climbers are not always comfortable preforming. I have seen jobs that I told the customer we needed a crane, bucket truck or other equipment to complete it safely. But instead they chose a cheaper bid only to have the accident happen that I predicted in the first place if the proper equipment was not used. Using a safe method is not always the cheapest.

Some people assume because they own a chain saw they can handle any Tacoma tree cutting job. It takes years of experience just to learn to cut face-cuts, back-cuts alone, and then gage how much hinge wood to leave. There are skills that go into reading the tree and assessing the situation before ever pulling out the saw. In many cases residential tree work not only possess a risk to your property but also your neighbors. If you have a 130 foot tall tree and close neighbors it could fall across server of your neighbors property’s. And Bob has seen the results of a home owner trying to save a buck.

Bobs Property Solutions owns most of the equipment needed to get most tree service jobs done safely. To give you an idea of cost, to fully equip one climber with basic gear: four chain saws, climbing saddle, tree spikes, ropes for rigging and safety, and specialty tools cost over $4000.00 new. Just one Stihl T200 climbing tree saw cost $650 new. This is before the tree chip truck and wood chipper. When it comes to excavation, land clearing, and site development Bob’s is equipped to handle most jobs up to about a 10 house development or building plots. He also has hydraulic brush cutters, concrete brakers, dirt compactors, ect.

Please see my equipment page for for pictures of the equipment I own.
